it is sad .... I've encountered these types before .....
they would find it hard to be in a "normal" relationship .... men
would either date her for a quickie or be hurt by her ....
I blame the parents ... cheating fathers seem to have this
effect on their dotters ...
I do feel sad for her. It's the only kind of life she'll
know. I'd love to be that rich, but not that empty.
A daughter's relationship with her father is extremely important
because somehow, she'll usually end up marrying someone like her
dad, unless she goes on a crusade to actively NOT marry someone
like him. 
But see, we grow up learning that what
happens in our own family is 'normal' and we then seek to establish
the same kinda 'normalcy' that we are comfortable with. That
is, unless we know better and unless we have an awareness and are
able to view things from a 3rd party perspective, which can be hard
to do, esp if your entire world, growing up, has been of a certain
kind.
Heard of the famous saying, "In the world of the insane, the
sane are insane"? Thus, to her, things like Rolex watches,
country club memberships and owning more than one Merc is
"normal".
